Professional Long-arm Quilting Services

I am based in Reading, Berkshire, UK and have been offering professional long-arm quilting services for over 6 years.  I offer edge to edge & custom quilting services, basting and binding services. For some customers I have been able to repair & revive an old, tired or vintage patchwork top or quilt.

My On-line Shop

I now offer a range of 100% cotton high quality fabrics which I love! Styles range from plains, simple backgrounds, spots, stripes, reproductions, ditsy, 1930-50s to very modern and brights.

I have recently added books from Quiltmania, fun rulers and GIFT VOUCHER which are proving very popular.

I have a traders stand at the Pangbourne Quality Craft Market which is being held in aid of Cancer Research, at Pangbourne Village Hall near Reading, Berkshire, on the first Saturday in the Month in April, May, June & October, November, December.

I am back now after a fun week at Malvern Quilt Show - next show Sandown in June

Thanks to everyone who visited my stand at Malvern and a big thank you to those who bought something. I had a successfull week and many of my visitors seemed to like the fabrics and siad I am offering something different from the other traders. I can now look forward to the next show at Sandown in June.

    Fat Quarters Reproduction Fabrics

    These fabrics are sold by the FAT QUARTER measuring approximately 50cm x 55cm. 

    If you order more than one FAT QUARTER of any individual item, the fabric will be cut as a single piece. For exampe if you order:

    Qty = 2  - I will cut a single half (1/2) metre length

    Qty = 3 - I will cut a single three quarter (3/4) metre length

    Qty = 4 - I will cut a single one (1) metre length

    Qty = 5 - I will cut a single one and a quarter (1 1/4) metre length

    About Marisa and Creative Thursday

    Marisa Anne is an artist and designer living in Los Angeles, California. After receiving a degree in advertising, she worked as both a graphic designer and interior designer. Marisa also studied acting and improvisation at the Groundlings Theatre and School in Los Angeles. She now credits Improv as the catalyst that helped her to finally trust her own creative voice. While working a 9 to 5 job, Marisa set an intention to be more creative one day a week, on Thursdays {of course!}.

    Once she decided to take the leap as an entrepreneur she found her way back to what she truly loves, working as an artist in all mediums, from acrylic painting, to sculpting, to writing, to textile creations and design.

    Creative Thursday has now become a full time business that is also home to a cast of characters who wear hats, hold hands and encourage you to follow your dreams too.

    Marisa's art work sells all over the world via select galleries and her own online shop, as well as Urban Outfitters, Papyrus, and the Land of Nod. Passionate about encouraging others to live a life they love, especially creatively; Marisa teaches, speaks and is also the voice of the Creative Thursday blog and podcasts.
